the Daily Thread Tuesday 3-6

The coffeepot is empty, there's a bagel in my belly, the sun is shining and the horrendous wind has stopped blowing. Between the calm and today's projected high of 82, I'm going to wear a skirt to work.

Rowdy and Buddy have taken over my pillows, for their post-breakfast nap and Opie is on the back of the couch. The dogs have had THEIR breakfast and are sprawled in the sun.

The critters are all sleeping and I have to go to work. Just WHO owns WHO here?

I've got 50 degrees in my part of sunny Tucson, Arizona. Got my cuppa in my hand, gonna work on a second one soon.

hmmmmmmmm coffee.. i made highland grog this morning the whole house smells warm and cozy so far it is my favorite flavor of coffee. not much going on today. i dont have to work today. im just playing on tcs,cleaning house, playing on tcs, doing laundry, playing on tcs, shoveling snow off the back porch, playing on tcs, did i mention that ill be playing on tcs today too?

Good Morning I smell the coffee and can not have any. So anyone got the donuts and coffee cake I can have that LOL. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo maybe some baby back ribs or some garlic chicken. HMMM I think I am hungry

Back from work and have to throw the duvet in the washing machine as Sonic was marking his territory last night

Had a knackering day so I'm going to skip the coffee and head straight for the hard stuff

And what exactly is "knackering?"

Knackering is exhausting, I think... I've heard the phrase "I'm knackered" before. Great word, I need to use it more.

Hmmm... my day is going. My husband that I'm now separated from decided to try to re-add me as a friend on his myspace so now my head hurts from figuring out what is going on in his head.

Other than that, I'm at work and the students are exhausting, as always - Spring Break is next week and they can feel it! And I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do for Spring Break... my mom wants me to come to Houston to stay with her for a while but I can't leave Baylee and Baylee would not travel well...

I'm having to deal with a lot of internal politics at the moment and its just making the job harder

Good morn...err, afternoon

I am eating a homemade banana muffin, setting up a playlist, and about to clean the livingroom and the computer room. Pet Freshener has been sitting on the carpet for about an hour now, ready to be vacuumed up with all the critter smells.

Someones coming to check the furnace tomorrow, because our pilot light keeps going out. (it was 63 degrees last night, inside the house.

)So I'm getting rid of all the cat and dog hair, will also be dumping litterboxes sometimes today.

Heh... Just saw this joke and couldn't help sharing, but didn't think it worth a thread

An elderly woman decided to prepare her will and told her preacher she had
two final requests. First, she wanted to be cremated, and second, she wanted
her ashes scattered over Wal-Mart. "Wal-Mart?" the preacher exclaimed. "Why
Wal-Mart?" "Then I'll be sure my daughters visit me twice a week "
