just noticed growth under chin on new kitten

My new kitten has been at the vet so much I am going broke! Is on meds now for diarreah and is doing well. But just noticed a growth under chin
(not right on the tip,but down under a bit) Its hard. Not red. Pretty small. Kitten has been scrathing there. What could this be??

let me add that it is not black. Maybe slightly darker than the skin and looks like it may have bled a bit (probably with scratching). No hair loss either. I have young kids and am concerned now as I have read so much about ringworm. Does this even sound like it could be ringworm?

My advice with any unknown is at minimium call your vet... most likly this requires a vet visit

Could it be what they call kitty acne? When our Dylan was a baby, he developed that because of the plastic bowls we were using. We switched to glass or stainless steel, and it went away in no time...

Kitty acne shows as black. ANd ringworm usually shows as little circular bald patches. I am afraid you are going to have to make a vet visit.
