cleaning kitty feet

Puppy discovered the crawl space Saturday and deemed it best place ever to cause trouble. When he finally came out, our cameo and white darling was black and grey!

I was able to get most of the dirt out in his bath, but the bottoms of his paws are still filthy. I couldn't grab his paws and scrub them in the bath. What's the best way to clean paws?

(Apparently the bath did not deter him from going AGAIN into the crawl space...we spent all weekend wrestling him out of there! It's covered now, hopefully we've stopped the problem!)

Oh dear, what a mess!

I'm able to lift Sho's feet out of the bath water one by one and scrub them, but he's rather well behaved. Maybe use a washcloth to help scrub while your kitty is in the bath? or a bowl of water (or some water in the sink), washcloth and some shampoo.

I tried that since he was good in the bath, but his fur is super thick. To get the rest of the soot out, I had to scrub pretty hard and use a lot of shampoo. I couldn't quite grab his foot for long enough.

Do you think baby wipes will work? He's shorthair, it's just that he's got lots of tufts between his toes, and it's thick fur.
