I was watching the Planet's Funnest Animals one night last week. One of the film clips showed a domestic cat in a field with several deer. This cat would crouch down in the grass just like a lion in Africa does and run at the deer who would move a short distance away. It really showed the kind of instincts our furbabies actually have and it was soooo cute to watch.
