Princess Diana - Is it time to let her rest

I cant believe this is still wrangling on - she left this world 10 years ago. I know theres lots of suspicion around it all, but heck witnesses memories will surely have faded somewhat by now. Jeese I cant remember what I had for dinner last Sunday ! Cant they just let it all finish now - I cant understand what Mohamed al Fayed is looking for. Yes it is absolutely devastating to loose a child and of course we were (well most of us) touched by Dianas death - but it was 10 years ago ! Let them both R.I.P.

Sky News Report detailing whats happening now

I know what you mean I still don't think they were murdered anyway (on purpose). My thoughts are that it was an accident with the help of the press and the driver if he was over the limit with booze.

Was he found to be over the limit btw?. See it's that long that i've forgot!

It's wayyyy past time to let the whole thing rest IMO.

Yes, I do believe the driver was drunk at the wheel Rosiemac.

Conspiracy theorys have very long lives. JFK was killed in 1963 and the grassy knoll, the mafia, the government conspiracy, and Castro conspiracy lives on.

Absolution, I'd say. It was his employee who was driving while intoxicated, and responsible for the deaths of three people, including his own. There may be some sort of suppressed feelings of guilt on al Fayed's part, i.e., even though he was not directly responsible, in some corner of his brain, he may feel that he was indirectly at fault.

Elvis has left the building...and he took Princess Di with him. They are headed over to Jim Morrison's place to party with Jimi and Janis.

Seriously, things like this will never die as long as there are people to talk about it. For example, there are still books being written about Henry VIII and his various wives. Humans will be humans, after all.

I'm a huge Diana fan, but I agree! Let it rest - she's gone, although her legacy will never die! I remember the night she died very well - my daughter was leaving for university the next day and we were sitting up watching the news and crying. Then we cried all the way to Guelph the next day (poor DH - he had a miserable trip with 2 sobbing females in the car with him). But let her rest - it's over! We love you, Diana!

TEN years??? Are you serious it's been that long? I remember it all still to this day so it's hard to imagine time flew that fast. I was up that night when it came on the tv as it was happening with the car mangled and papparazi and crowds. I just keep saying, No it can't be Princess Di! I wish I'd been able to meet that wonderful woman. I'll never forget her brilliant smile and laughing eyes.

My daughter was born the day after she died and i still think
about it from time to time.
But your right, let her rest in peace

I think Mohamed al Fayed needs to accept the fact that it was a terrible accident and nothing more, and let them all rest in peace.
