At first I thought he was just constipated, but now he will barely move. He'll never stand. Even if i pick him up and set him down, he'll just plop down to the floor. I got him some constipation/hairball medicine stuff but I don't think it is helping. I'm taking him to the vet today after school. Anyone know what else I can do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know, but I am glad that you are taking him to the vet.

Please let us know what the vet says too.

I am sending hugs and prayers from Mississippi for you and your cat.

I agree that he should see a vet right away. If it is something serious, it might be too late by the time you get home from school.

Please let us know what you find out at the vet.

Yes, I agree - Vet ASAP

A male cat that appears to be straining in the litterbox is probably not consitipated, but probably IS unable to urinate. That is an emergency.
