Wingate???
That's hilarious!

My middle name is Kay which is my mum's first name. Our children will have DH's mums name as a middle name for a girl, and my dad's name as a middle name if it's a boy.

Am I the only one with no middle name? My parent's thought my name was long enough as is so no middle name. When I was in elementary school one of my best friend's middle name was my name, so we used to say that my middle name would be her name (Desiree). My kids will have middle names. DH's middle name is David. His names are very biblical. And very common!

My middle name is Christie.. it didn't really come from anywhere.. and i think i know that for a fact, since most of my family, even my mom, think it is christine..
how could they forget my middle name? =( i love my middle name.. the only thing i really love about my frist name is that it means "lovely" other than that it's way too common.

My nephew is named for his father and grandfather who had no middle name! It caused some funny moments when he was in the Marines. He once received a letter that started "Dear Mr. III". (He is Firstname Lastname III.)

His youngest also carries the family name, but was given a middle name which we use.

Far far away!
My middle name is Yvonne (pronounced like it begins with an 'E'). I am not sure why it is my middle name. I like my first name a lot better. I have a long name. All three names combined, I have 23 letters in my name! I always just go by my nickname.

My middle name is....oh wait, I don't have one. You're not alone. I am the only one in my family of 6 children without a middle name. I feel so left out.
Actually, my parents couldn't think of anything to "go" with Sophie, so I didn't get one. Besides, Sophie is a derivative of the saint name Sophia. It is Catholic tradition for your middle name to be a saint name....and since my first name is one, I was covered.

It was my paternal grandmother's name. Around the time of my birth there was a popular song out called "Linda Lou" and my dad wanted a Linda Lou, hence Linda Luella which also honoured my grandmother.

The only other person I ever heard of with the name Luella was Luella Parsons. So your mom is now the second. Cool!
