I am so proud of Tobie... he did really well today. I couldn't go to the show yesterday because I had an exam in one of my classes, but I went today... there were 4 HHP rings. Tobie got 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, and.....

.....

.....

1st!!!
Yay Tobie!

Anywho, here's some pics.

A huge Maine Coon... can't really tell from the pic, but he took up nearly his entire double cage.

Another Maine Coon. He had a great personality!!

Sleeping Somali...

Aby.

American Shorthair

Champagne Burmese.

More to come...

Aby

My favorite cat at the show... LOOK AT THAT FACE!!! Doesn't it make you want to melt??

Devon Rex (I think)....

Cornish Rex (I think)...

These guys were CLOWNS!!! Always active and doing something silly, like stealing their number card from the top of the ring cage.

Tobie, the star of the show.

Sable Burmese.

Glamourpuss.

Oci... I think this one was a chocolate silver, a very light one, but I never got close enough to tell.

Chocolate Oci.

Bombay.

Great pics! Did you take any Birman pictures?

And congratulations to Tobie!!! That little boy is something special, we've all known that since we first laid eyes on him, so I'm glad the judges saw it too!

Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't. There were a ton of them though... lots of Birman kittens! I do remember watching one ring where the judge REALLY liked the Birman... he was very cobby and solid, even at only 4 months! I was impressed, too.
Hubby had the camera at that point, though.

Patience, my dear.
I saved the best for last, of course!

Now you'll just have to wait until morning.

I'll have to look up the judges... I didn't go into this show nearly as prepared as the last time.

The chocolate WAS from Dotdotdot (His name is Stradivarius), and the chocolate silver was from Calumet.

The judge who placed him first was either Chuck Gradowski, John Colilla, Larry Adkison, or Paul Patton. I lost my schedule that tells me who judged which rings!!!

OMG

That's "Woody" - he's Charlie's 1/2 brother! He was Best Kitten/2nd Best Cat Nationally last year - didn't know Nancy was showing him again this season.

I KNEW he looked familiar - they have the same coloring. Thanks

Wow Shannon!!!! You done GOOD!!!!!

You done good with the pics too!!!!

Can you tell me who the aby was - the one being judged? The look is familiar!

The persian/himi is lovely indeed - huge eyes, small ears, nice expression.

The Brums...were they listed as E Burms or just Burmese?

Don't know any of the judges

Anyway, well done!!! Tobey ROCKS!!!

Admit it, you're addicted to showing cats now aren't you?

PS. Can you post pics of the rosettes please? For professional interest you understand....:

They didn't have a problem with what I listed him as... chocolate silver ticked tabby, but one of the judges was sure he has the Burmese gene from one parent and the mink from another. Another one just said, "He decided to be his own color."

I'll get the rosettes posted tomorrow sometime. They were pretty, and not recycled this time!
At least most of the rings had new ribbons.

The following Aby breeders were represented at some point in the show (I didn't note who was being shown when I took the pics):
El Qahira
Absolute
Elamante
L'Aradia
Zehnder
Khafre
Thorsgard
Dizzney
Rulissa
Cadillac

Some of the sires and dams were listed as the following:
Saika Shams
Indiabi
Purssynian
Tinbat
Bastis

There were a mix of European and Contemporary Burmese.

Ahhh - thanks! The cat looks like a Zehnder...that cattery is doing very very well in the lists! Bastis, Tinbats and Purssynian are some of the best Aby breeders in the world!!!

Congratulations on Tobies wins!!
You must be proud and excited!!

You took wonderful pictures, of many of the breeds, I loved each one!! The Scottish Fold reminded me of the "puss in boots", from the kids movie Shrek 2, when he looks up with "pretty please" eyes.

I didn't see any Ragdolls in those pics!!
Thats okay, I really enjoyed seeing many of the different breeds.

Thank you for sharing photos with us!!

Congrats to Tobie!!! Aren't those Maine Coons huge? I am always impressed with how large they are. The Devon Rexes have such adorable faces! What nice pics you took. And the Ocicats really stand out in the rings. They are eye grabbers imo. Would love to know who the Somali was if you happen to know? Cat shows are very addicting.
