A Terribly Sad Day here

Well I have some more bad news this afternoon and I am very Sad. I will say that he was like my Nephew although he was actually My SILs Nephew.
Has been on life support for 2 days now and the Family was told just a bit ago that he is Brain Dead, He has been battling Diabetes for sometime and had a Heart Attack a few days ago.
They are waiting for his Wife to get here to California and then I assume they will making the choice to take him off of Life Support.
Poor Bruce he was only 43 years old, He has a 16 year old Daughter also. He and my Daughters grew up together and hung out as even Teens, He even lived with us for a period of time. He is the same age My Oldest Daughter is.
Could you please keep all of the Family in your Thoughts and Prayers these next few days they will be having a very hard time.. Thanks So Much

His family must be heart broken.

Positive vibes being sent to you and your family. I am so sorry to hear this. My Dad is a Type 1 diabetic - had it since he was 9. Thankfully his has been fairly easy to control - although having grown up with it, he was raised to eat and exercise properly for the diabetes. Of course he's experiencing all the complications now. He did have a heart attack about 15 years ago. He had quintuple bypass, and was very, very, very lucky.


My heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.
