I carry a Liz Clairborne purse right now. It doesn't zip, it just snaps up.
I need something bigger.
Would it be a "fashion no no" if I were to carry a stylish backpack?

What kind of back pack are you talking about?

I would just invest in a bigger purse (you can get them cheap!)

I bought a large purse in Maurices on clearance. It's patchwork. Very cute, IMO. My sisters call it my "suitcase".

I think I saw that one- its cute! Bigger purses are 'in' anyways- I see everyone carrying them. I need one, thats for sure!

This is the one I'm dreaming of, and yes, its big (and expensive, thats why I'm dreaming)

It really is big- and holds everything I need to carry around, and then some!

I am a huge backpack/purse person..that's all I carry. I switch between my coach and a fossil (e-bay items). I see many people with the backpack style of purses.

I have a backpack like that I use for carrying all my papers for work (a briefcase just gets too heavy on one shoulder/hand), but its not exactly 'stylish' or fashionable

I have this one and can fit my laptop, papers and a load of other stuff in it

This website has a list of some geared more for women rather than kids

Thanks for the site!

I know I want something feminine but not TOO girly... and I can't have leather.... not in this house
It has to be washable

I prefer bigger purses to backpacks. Right now i have a burgendy leather one that's medium sized and zips up- i love it. I also like purses vs. backpacks because that way i can hold them close to my body when walking on a crowd so they won't get snatched as easily
(in memphis, you really have to think about those things around here unfortunatelly
)I guess though after years of school and college...i'm just not a huge fan personally of anything that resembles a backpack. Some people really like them though and they can be pretty cute- so if that's what you like- get the one that makes you happy
They do seem convient.

Good idea!!! I might hint at hubby to order it for me as a late christmas present or an early birthday present.
