I can't leave earrings or necklaces, chains, etc. on my dresser. Either they completely disappeared or were on the floor. I know which cat it is since I caught her. After thinking it was cute I then realized that she could swallow the earrings and possible try to eat the chains. I now make sure I put all glitter stuff away and not tempt her. Also paper clips, toothpicks, pins, and other dangerous items. I'm posting this just to warn everyone, although I'm sure you were all smarter than me.

Yup, my cats like anything shiny! Apparently necklaces are fun to bat around too.

Oh, yes, anything small and shiny is a temptation. I make sure that all small items are immediately put away when I'm through using them.

Also the fact that it is something you touch or move all the time, curiosity. Maia has to check out everything I put on the side table, nail file, change, chap stick..........

Karma doesn't really play with anything shiny but she loves my makeup and ponytail holders.

She got one of my ponytail holders a few weeks back and acctually yelled at me when I tried to get it back. It was so funny that we filmed it. I will post it soon. You can clearly hear her saying no, mine and away. I use to doubt cats could talk untill I heard it. I did a double take and looked at my DH and said did you hear that she told me to get away! So out came the camera. It took a pen and some trick moves from me to get it away.
