Hello to all!!!

Hi there

Just joined as I have my first ever cat. I was always a dog lover but kids wanted a cat and now I have her shes so cute. Sorry

Her name is Heidi (daughter said because she hides alot) she is 6 months old. I got her on Tuesday, her owners were German but didnt want her i think she was a novelty and they got bored. I didn't pay alot for her but they said they thought she was an Egyptian Mau which I have found out she isnt and not bothered anyways. I dont know her exact date of birth just that it was August 2006 so i just made a date myself (20/8/06).

I will try and get the 2 pics of her i have and maybe someone can shed light on what breed she is although i think she will be a mix.

Hi, and I certainly did not get bored! Welcome to TCS and by the way, I have a German car that I have named Heidi!! (A Porsche.) So a big welcome Heidi and Angela!!

I am sorry, I am not the one to ask how to upload pics, I too have trouble with this, but I am sure someone will come along soon to help explain. Again, welcome Angela.

i know there not great pics but im trying to get new ones of her shes very frightened and hides alot (hence her name) but when shes used to us i will post more.

hi welcome to tcs, this is such a great site and everyone here is so friendly also this site can be informative and fun too But anyways ur girl is such a cutie but also some people dont h ave myspace accounts but you can make a photobucket account at photobucket and link the pictures from there ! Well see u on the forums, if u need help let me know !

Unfortunately I don't have a myspace account, so can't see the picures of your girl. If you can upload them to photobucket or one of the other free sites I would love to see her!

I'm new here too. Hidee is a real cutey. My Blossom's birthday is Sept 8, given to her by the vet as she was dumped at 3 1/2 weeks, so she's nearly 6 months old.

Welcome to TheCatSite and thank you for adopting little Heidi -- it's true that once a person "wakes up and smells the catnip", that's usually it -- they're a cat lover forever after! Heidi sounds gorgeous and we can't wait to see photos of her. All 9 of us are rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered of course, and we take pride in not being "pedigreed" but in being RESCUED and LOVED! That's the most important thing. You've done a great thing in adopting your little cutie and we hope you'll enjoy the forums and get lots of good information (the kitten care forum sounds like just your thing!) Your kids are very smart, aren't they???
