I could go for it again, but I am on a new regimen

Thanks, Kelly. I like that! Good luck with your diet!Originally Posted by clixpix

I'm dieting right now, so I feel your pain! When I have a craving for something, say like a pieceof cake, I think to myself "there will always be cake...I will still be able to get cake when I have lost the weight". Try thinking that you're not eliminating it forever, just for a little while...Taco Bell will always be there.
Honestly, I'm not nearly as addicted as this thread makes me out to be. I generally allow myself one visit to Taco Bell a week, at the most, and stay away from other fast food. My mom's a dietician so I was raised in a house where we ate a healthy and balanced diet and, thanks to mom, I've managed to keep to these practices (for the most part) as adult.Originally Posted by gailuvscats
Do yourself a favor and go on the Taco Bell website and read how mjuch fat and sodium and clories are in the Taco Bell items you crave. Then rent the movie Supersize Me. You are addicted. you should never go back to eating that crap, or any other fast food crap. You will have to go through withdrawal from transfats, and hydrogenated fat, and high fuctose corn syrup, all killers.
I don't know what the draw is. Guess it helps that it's cheap and good.Originally Posted by gailuvscats
I am surprised then that you want it at all. We never drank soda or ate fast food when I was a kid, and I have no desire to eat that stuff, and on the rare occasion that I do, I think it is disgusting. Of course if it were covered in choclate, I would be singing a different tune.
I'm sorry you lost your TB. You've really got me curious about why!Originally Posted by silentNate
There is one Taco Bell in England- and its on an American Army base where I'd need security clearance
I actually moved jobs to get nearer the TB in Earls Court before it was
closed down...and I'm sure I'd get in trouble if I mentioned why it was closed down

Not to rub it in, but I am having quesadilla's at Applebee's tonight with my sister!
I saw that on the news last night. Totally disgusting, but I figure by the time Lent's over, I'll have forgotten about it!Originally Posted by CDubbie
After seeing the "Rats overtake Taco Bell/KFC!!!" video yesterday and thought this thread was a joke. I doubt I'll ever be able to eat there again...which i rarely did anyway.

Thanks for the invite! And, since you mentioned it, I think they've started. Last night it was our favorite British judge from AI.Originally Posted by AbbysMom
