Hey every one! Well I was on one of our rescue sites and well I was looking over jobs just to get a insight on things and such because I am trying to go to vet tech school but that wont be until spring, because I already missed fall registration, and well I was looking at the site and such for one that always needs vet techs and well u have to have 1 year experience at a shelter and such so I went to the other rescue site and u start out as a volunteer and then u are able to further it as u want and such and well I would love to do that and u socialize the cats and cut their nails and everything, and well it is by the one place where my mom works so I am considering it, and its only a few hours and such for all of that but here is what it says :" Cat Caregivers: You will attend 2 trainings: General Orientation and 2 hours of “practice†with a Mentor Volunteer. There will also be opportunities to further advance your skills and knowledge in working with animals here at the League, but that will be at your own discretion." So what do u all think???
