Sorry I haven't been around the last couple of weeks. I've been super-busy at work (which is where I do most of my TCS-ing). I've also been asked to moderate another forum that I frequent, so I've been there a bit more than usual.
Anyway, today my precious Polly turns 2!!!
Little Polly (aka, Smalley, because she is small) was born to a feral colony and was rescued by my vet through a local TNR/adoption group. She was fostered, but she was considered special needs because, despite being young, she wasn't calming down like she should. She would hiss at anyone who came too close. They were calling her "Hissy" They called me to ask if I was interested in adopting a special needs kitten. I did, of course, end up adopting her, however, when I got her home, she never hissed at us. She hissed at Prego the first couple of days, but then she realized he is just a big teddy bear and began to love him. I am not really sure why she didn't hiss at us. These days, she has become a real sweetheart. She likes to lay on my chest in the morning and get pettings. And she tolerates her daily pill and 3 times a week tooth brushing routine extremely well.
