Just thought I would share the story of something nice someone was doing for a stray little cat.
A friend of mine is wintering a stray cat in her backyard. She can't bring it into the house due to her 16 year old "one cat is enough cats" cat. So she devised a plan.
She took a rubermaid garbage can and cut a "door" in it. She then duct taped a comforter inside the can making a little tent and stuffed more stuffing in the open spaces and attached the lid. The kitty sleeps in it every night then sits on the can watching her get her son ready for school and then the kitty gets her dry food and water for the day.
Hilda (my friend) is planning on developing trust with the little kitty and hopefully being able to take it to the vet to get checked out and fixed and find a home for it. It is such a cute little kitty I wish I had a picture to show you all.
For a stray cat this kitty is completely spoiled.
