I recently switched my babies over to Innova(evo grainless) and their pooh is terrible(stinky)...they were currently eating Wellness...I did the change gradually so I don't know why they are having stink butt.

That is one of the issues that EVO can cause ... you may want to mix again and then slowly again give more EVO or maybe try a different grainless food ...

Is there a few brands that your kitty has liked?? The Canidae for kitties is hard to get here but if they like it I will get it....

Do they have to be on a grainless diet?

When I switched by Merlynn to Innova Evo she was okay while we transitioned. I slowly moved her over to it - 10 days. The very first day she was entirely on the Innova, she had runny, stinky diarrhea. The moment I bought her a new food (California Natural) and mixed it 1/2 and 1/2, she was fine.

Hope your stinky poos don't last too long!

By nature cats dont require grains they essentially hold the dry food together ... My Zoey seems to like rice in her food and does well... I would prefer she ate raw but I and the vet are happy with how she looks and acts

My canine baby eats raw; we made the switch a couple of months ago...I have been really debating it with the kitties. I free feed them so it may be a little harder to do...I could just feed them all at the same time. The food if I stay on dry must be grainless, like sharky said grains are not good for kitties..I think I am going to try Nutro, my vet recommended it too. Thanks guys

Nutro is good, but pretty sure all of theirs have grains.

The other 2 foods Sharky listed are grainless.
Still kind of an unusual concept I guess (since there's just a few choices).

I meant to write Nature's not Nutro(you are right).
Been doing a lot of reading on here and it looks like I am 90% raw...The last 10 percent is left to the kitties on what they will eat...
