I was wondering what I should do about 1337 and Roarie trying to "play" with Foofy (although she hisses and meows that she wants nothing to do with it and often runs and hides or something). Should I scold the kittens for constantly going after Foofy? Is there something I can do to make Foofy more relaxed with the kittens?

I just broke up what 1337 thought was a play session this morning and a gal can only handle so much.

Thanks.

Usually adult cats have ways of telling kittens enough is enough but if you feel Foofy can't handle them, just keep her in another room during her nap times. It is useless to scold kittens for being playful.

Kittens are always annoying like that, hehe. They should adjust with time, but since there is two of them and one of her, give her extra attention so she doesn't feel too stressed out. Maybe Foofy needs some confidence that shes the top cat, then she'll show the kittens whos boss.

I just put her in our extra room (it has my computer, etc., in it) with a make-shift litter box, food, and water. She was annoyed/scared by 1337 again and made a mess on the counter and the carpet. I really think she's getting scared since it causes her to make a BM in the place she stands. As soon as I put her in the new room and showed her the litter box she went straight for the food and started eating (it's soft canned food, a treat my dad sent yesterday for the cats). Hopefully some alone time will help her out and give my boyfriend time to cool down.

Cats are smart, you'd think they'd learn that hissing and pooping means "I don't like you."

Foofy was in her own room for a couple days and was let out this morning. So far there were no spiffs between her and 1337. Hopefully the little vacation was good for her (although she did make two small messes, even with a litter box being accessible).
