This might be normal but as this is my first kitty....i want to be sure...
Cosmo is about 7 months old ..not so sure since I got him from a shelter..but anyway..I have caught him more than once perched on my toilet with his head in it...Can he be drinking?? I just find it strange...I told my kids to make sure they close it but sometimes they forget....any other kitties out there do this sort of stuff?? Thanks for the input...

Yes there are other cats that drink from the toilet
Personally I don't allow it and we keep the lid down. You could try putting a sign up to remind the kids or something.

Yes, drinking out of it, playing in it (beware of wet toliet seats!
). Try really hard to keep the seat lid down so he doesn't fall in and get stuck..., especially since he is a kitten still
.

Our cat drinks out of the toilet too! We had closed the lid to keep her out, but then she started the lovely habit of tearing up the toilet paper. It's REALLY not fun trying to peel a roll of toilet paper down 40 or 50 layers to remove all the cat-scratched scraps...

So now the lid stays up, but I did put a bowl of cat water in the bathroom that she prefers to drink, so I'm happy about that!

how bad is the blue toilet stuff like 10000 flushes for cats? Ive caught my cat drinking out of my toilet that has one in it a couple times. He hasnt thrown up, no apparent ill effects, and i remember to keep the lid down like 99 percent of the time...still, slightly troublesome.
