On the Cops show that I am watching, the lady has a snake in her house.

She has called the cops to come and get it. The cops is just going around her house trying to find the snake, and the crazy lady is helping him.
.

Now they can't find it.

He is leaving without finding the snake. Now they found it, I can't believe that cop was leaving.

Oh my goodness, she just said "Ain't he pretty"

I didn't say that when I found the snake in my boat house. I was telling the cop to kill it.

That show cracks me up. One time I was watching it and this lady called the cops because some lady stole her cocaine, and shorted her money on change when she bought the cocaine. Uhhhh... and WHY are you calling the cops to tell them this? She got arrested

It's pretty funny when you hear the reasons WHY they call the cops. It's like watching Jay Leno when he talks about some of the real 911 calls they have gotten!
It makes you wonder sometimes...

Yeah, I know, when I found that snake in my boat house, I didn't call them on the phone. I didn't want them to think I was a nut. So I just went down to the police station

I remember that one, too. How about the trucker who had his wallet stolen - and he was wearing the leopard print teddy.

That reminds me of the one episode I saw a bit of where a snake was on someone's porch roof. The cop pepper sprayed then beat the snake to death.
It was a large black snake that looked a lot like an eastern indigo snake.... a PROTECTED species of non-venomous snake... not that the person would get in trouble (a animal cruelty charge at least..) even with the video evidence.

I remember that one. The kicker of the entire thing was it was BABY garter snake. Totaly harmless and about 6 inches lon and no thicker then your pinky finger. It was like being scared of a pencil.

That was a good one too, and if I remember right, his stockings had a hole in them.

.. It made me pretty mad, no animal deserves to be beat to death
and certainly not because it wandered into an area that it had no way of knowing it shouldn't be there.

I am sorry that it made you mad, but I am literally scared to death of snakes, and I mean scared to death.

Where I live and where I grew up (in Louisiana), we have several poisonous snakes, and I have always been scared of them.

We have several types of rattlesnakes here (5 different kinds), plus copper heads and cottonmouth water moccasins

Actually I don't think it's very fair to call the police to deal with animals. Animal control or separate groups that do animal removal usually have the training and proper equipment to keep from possibly getting bit.
