Maxine's Living Will

Got this in an email. I imagine most of you have seen a Maxine Greeting Card.

I, MAXINE , being of sound mind and body, do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead politicians who couldn't pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it, or lawyers / doctors interested in simply running up the bills. If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to ask for at least one of the following:



Glass of wine
chocolate
Margarita
chocolate
Martini
Cold Beer
chocolate
Chicken fried steak
cream gravy
chocolate
Mexican food
chocolate
French fries
chocolate
Pizza
chocolate
ice cream
cup of tea
chocolate
Chocolate
Sex
Chocolate

It should be presumed that I won't ever get better. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes and call it a day.

I might consider wording mine this way - well, except for the alcohol...

What's the matter with the alcohol??? She only mentioned it 4 times, while chocolate, which is so much more addicting was mentioned 10 times. Come on there, live a little. HE HE HE

Maxine is tooo much! I was told the man who created her based her off his own mother, who is from near here. I'm not sure if she is living or not now though.

I read a great one that I had copied and then lost that was like

"I may be kept artifically alive for X amount of days if X amount of $$ is given to X charity" and it had a whole list so if it got bunged up in court, some charities would be given $$.

I love Maxine's living will. Sounds like something I'd draw up.
