Today is the 10th day after Mixy's spay and this morning I checked her cut and there is a little blood there. Could it be serious? Since it is the 10th day and I'm due to take her to get her stitches out tomorrow, is it possible that the cut has healed but could it still bleed?
I'd appreciate your help.
Thank you.

She could be licking harder then she should. Be sure you mention it to the vet when you take her in so they can check her out.

GoldenKitty. I have seen her licking herself on that area.
Is it possible that the cut can reopen after the 10 days?
Long way till tomorrow for the vet!

She may have pulled on the stitches from running about or licking at them....I agree to mention it to your vet.

I'm keeping an eye on her.
I just hope that it isn't serious.

her cut has blood again.
She is eating very well and playing. I am keeping her from "fighting" with her siblings.
I'm taking her to the vet as quickly as possible in the morning.
As always, thank you all for your replies

Just came back from the vet and he told me that it had to do with "serum" and that the cut was bleeding because of the stitches themselves. Like I've told you, he doesn't take the time to let me ask questions. He always seems to be rushing out the door.
I also told him that she scratches her ears a lot and even has little bald spots. He told me that she had ear mites and gave me Otomite Plus.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks.

sounds like vet needs a kick in pants. I would next time voice your opinion and say hay I pay for the visit here please let me get my hard earned cash worth. Do not allow him to walk away.

Ear mites poor thing. Make sure the other cats are treated.
