Nat, it's really hard to think that this girl who thinks slobbery toys under her covers is adorable is the same girl that was so hesitant to let Trout sleep in the bed with her just a few months ago.

Trout is so sweet.

Trout is so sweet.
I was crazy for not letting her sleep with me
I can't imagine not having her little furry warm body cuddled in with me.

You should think yourself lucky - we had heavy rain last week, and Ben went out digging to bring me back earth worms - one in my shoes and one (rather bizarrely!) in the washing machine!!!!!

Mine too!
Who hasn't woken up to a turd in their bed at least once? Damita often has cling-ons...

Ummm....that's one thing I have not experienced. And probably won't unless the girls are allowed to sleep with us.....

The other thing that occurred to me is it's probably a good thing that wasn't a dog bringing slobbery toys to bed -- now THAT's slobbery!

That one happened to me once. My dear Toby, who is passed on was a mouser. One morning, I woke up (part-way) and reached out to the pillow next to me to pet Toby. Instead I felt something wet and sticky. Half a mouse!!
The back half!!

Me playing fetch with her for 4 hours a day is very neglectful indeed

that's so cute.

i will be glad raven only brings one puffball to bed at night. it's only gross when he brings what we call the "crusty purple puffball". yep, it's that gross.
i just don't have the heart to throw it away.
he loves that thing. his favorite puffballs are the yarn puff ones, and they are so hard to find.
