Pregnant Layla's owner needs advice

just checking in to see how things are going ?
we always have a moan here , please dont take offensive to it , we just like to point out the facts and to try and help and advise on certine things.
please do up date when you can .

its ok i didnt take offense....realise that people get pretty passionate on here. just it can get a tad patronising sometimes. Anyway, Layla is doing well. Shes being kept indoors from today which she hates!! she tries everything 2 escape - only uses the tray as a last resort! Other than that she spends all of her time asleep or stretchd across the landing! Kitten movement is very obvious now whenever shes laying down. Still no milk...so who knows when theyre coming! i think they should b here by the weekend though. I think im going 2 have 2 buy a crate 4 them does anyone know where i can get hold of a cheap 1??

by the way...this is Layla...the 2nd pic shows a tiny bit of her grey mark on the head which i mentioned. the 2nd pic shows her as she is always seen these days...but shes not pregnant in these pics!

and if i was patronising in anyway im sorry , i think i need to be carfull how i word things.
i have a pregnant queen here who has roughly 8/9 days to go. so i know what your going through , her kittens are now moving around loads , i think they was very high up as up to a few days ago you couldnt see or feel anything. her milk hasnt come in yet either , but when checking on her before they do seem to be getting a small amount of milk.
but honestly i have been where you are , my lilly who is in my sig below i took her on unkowning she wasnt spayed , she fell pregnant and had a c section and lost all her babys , they didnt spay her at the time she got out 2 weeks later and didnt come home for 6 weeks , when she did she was 6 weeks pregnant . she had 3 healthy kittens then she was spayed.
so now i have the worry all over again with this new one i homed from a lady who couldnt be bothered no more , this will be i think her fourth litter, shes only 3 years old bless her. the cage thing , i have 1 here that you could maybe borrow? its a bit old and only meduim sized . i was going to use it for anne . but she hates it , so she is now set up in my bedroom.
sometimes the loot has dog crates for sale and some aint to badly priced. sometimes a rescue will lend you one for a short period of time , or some pet stores sell them , i think for the large there about £60.00. honestly if you need anything , or have any other questions just PM me , i will go through everything you want to know. (not saying you dont know nothing) lol. but i have learned alot from this site and the members , and also been through it before. and i promise i wont go on at you.
i went onto a site before i found this one . and as soon as i said lilly was pregnant i got a mouth full , very abusive. and just didnt want to give me advise . so im glad i found this site.

She is absolutely stunning. No wonder the male cats like her

Yeah shes actualy a model...got rejected 4 a job recently though cos shes pregnant!! LOL. tasha thanx 4 ur msg, i know u didnt mean 2 b blunt bt it just came across that way as it can in typing sometimes. and i will definately let u know if i need nething. thank u.
Wel as yet, theres no real progress - shes just lazier and has grown in2 a balloon. she jus constantly lays stretched out, especially as shes kept indoors now. So i guess as soon as she shows signs of more activity she might be ready! ill let u kno... and ill post more pics soon as ive taken some my guess is sunday night....bt who knows!

anne is just laying about aswell , looks very fed up. if the vets dates and the women who i homed her from are right , then we have about a week left.
i know when lilly was very close , she showed some signs. she was panting ( abit like a dog does) about 24 hours before she gave birth. she got more loving. and had a mucus which was a brownish colour. and her milk had come right in.
also wanted to say sorry if you know everything we have said about being ready for the birth. some people dont , and we get so used to asking and advising , that we do sometimes forget to ask if you know the basics lol.

I read more pictures WHERE... sorry I love pictures. In 1 week there will be new kittens. It is spring soon so there will be a house site full soon I am sure.

Dont worry about it tasha...actually looking back on the 1st msg i posted it could be seen as pretty amateur! u wernt 2 know what i knew so no worries. But 4 the record, i had already done most of the research! lol. jus came on here 2 c if ne1 could guess the colours of the kittens...but now i jus come on here 2 talk about the cat with other ppl who r cat mad lol.
So is there ne progress with anne? Layla looks ready now. She has got bigger in the last 2 days and she barely walks now! She is getting a bit more loving but no milk/discharge yet...i get a feelin its gna b 2moro or the day after though, dunno y.

i think she is getting very close , she has about 5 days to go , so who knows.

how is she today ? any news yet?

nothing yet....she was kneading with her paws on my bed last night...and she is starting 2 wonder about into corners a bit. but nothing else yet...dont think theres any milk...and shes jus lying about like usual

aww , anne was kneeding my bed tonight , i put a new throw on the bed , she has taken to it very well

hahaha oh did i 4get 2 mention im not a lady lol....im a guy! but this site is full of women so i 4give u 4 ur mistake lol. nope no kittens yet! ill update soon as they come though. and ive got some new pictures aswell...

just a quick update... her milk has come down and i was able 2 squeeze out a tiny bit 2 day which really pissed her off!! so im expectin the next 48 hours 2 bring kittens now...!

Where's the new pics Sully?! Could be any time now then, my cat had her's last week and i didnt feel her milk until the morning she delivered! And i'm not surprised she was pissed!!! lol, how would you like someone squeezing your nipples!!
