Twitch, TigerLily, & Crazy

I found old pics of a bunch of the kits I was going to post & never did...since I'm freezing rain/snowed in...I'm figured I might as well post them!!

I was given a hamster wheel for my gerbils & wasn't about to give it to them! So, I left Ophelia play with it for awhile....I supervised her playtime so she didn't hurt herself. The hamster wheel was one of those toys that just makes her happy & brings her out of her gloom....

Just don't ask what happened to the hamster! (Seriously, I've never owned a hamster & never have my cats eaten one) I know Ophelia's always had a thing for wheels of that type....she just stares at the one in the gerbil cage. They just seem to fascinate her. She starts to drool looking at them, just like she does when she sees something interesting or plays with some of her favorite toys!

Beautiful cats! I must agree, though, a cat playing with a hamster wheel- gotta love that irony! She seems to be having more fun than the hamster would. I have to admit, my first thought was "where's the hamster??"

There was never a hamster! Two gerbils, yes. But, I've held them out for the kitties to sniff at & they both bite the cats. So, the kitties in this house don't like rodents! They like to watch them through the glass, but when I get the gerbils out to run in their ball or play in their pen, the cats all scatter!
