My Grandparent's house is built over an old bean field. One day my Grandmother pulled up a dandellion, and attached to the roots was a gold ring! They think someone lost the ring while picking beans or something like that.

Oh my gosh-thats so cool!! What did she do with the ring?
She kept it! It didn't have anything much to identify it except the pattern. This was in 1950-something too. I think my mother has it now actually.
