I know! I hate leaving!

They're just starting to get their "sealegs" as I've been calling them. They can stand and take a few steps, but they are VERY wobbly steps.
It's so damn cute I can't stand it! I could sit there and watch them all day.
We have now dubbed them as "The Candy Kids" cause of their names.

We've discovered that the only little boy we've got (Twizzler) is hell on wheels! He's the only one that's been out of the bed and is determined to try to explore, although on the linoleum he can't keep his legs under himself. It's like watching an animal on ice. I know that's a terrible comparison, but it is so funny. I just want to help the little guy, but he's got to learn right? He takes a step or two, then plunk - both back legs go out from under him
It's so flippin cute!
He also loves to torment the hell out of his sisters. He's a trouble maker already that's for sure.

And I"m happy to say that they all continue to put on some decent weights every day and I only got one flea off them today and no excretement! So I may be able to keep this flea thing under control until they are old enough to treat chemically. Mom still has not one flea and I believe she has been treated.
As a side note - I have mentioned Mia's eyes before, but I just cannot tell you how absolutely beautiful they are!! They are "both" 2 colors! A darker lime green and a light green/yellow. It's so defined in both eyes you can't miss it. I have never in my life seen eyes on a cat like this. I wish I had the room for her - I'd keep her in a heartbeat!!! She is by far the most lovable cat I have seen.
Can't fall in love with her - no room....can't fall in love with her - NO ROOM!!! (help me here guys! I've already got 5! NO MORE!)

Awww keep taking pics of them!

Im glad you came here and asked for help about keeping Mia.
Um 6 cats is really no different than 5. I also heard that when you have 6 or more cats, they all get along better. You know her baby's will be adopted in a heartbeat, oh she probably wont.
It really sounds like you have connected with her.

Really how much room is she going to take up?

Theres my help ........ anyone else have any advice to offer Lisa?

Oh what precious darlin's! I love them all! Oh, I agree...once the lil' ones are adopted, how can you not have room for Miss Mia! She's beautiful! I have a Mia myself...well she's my daughter's but she's just like being mine too
You've just got to keep her...you've got to!!!!

I tried to view the video but it wouldn't play...I'll try again tomorrow.

Good night Mia and Cand Kids!

Not helping Pam!
Honestly I'm not sure I can cause of the fact that I've got 4 females already in this house and they are a little "on edge" already. I've failed the past 2 times I've introduced another female, but had luck with the males. There's just too many queens. We'll see. She is a little doll. I just went up and picked her up to show her the snow and she pushed her little head in betweeen my shoulder and my neck and started purring up a storm!!
And the Candy Kids are in the other room sleeping up a storm.

5,6, 14, what's the difference???

A little vanilla scent, some Bach's, extra catnip, all is well. I have 10 females that live together in peace and harmony.

Yep the more the merrier!!! I hope you give it a shot, Lisa! With the Rescue Remedy, vanilla scent and the Feliway it should be a success!!

Actually we discovered the she - is a he.
In fact it's the only little boy in the bunch (if you're talkin about the tabby looking one we named Twizzler).
He's hell on wheels too! He spent most of today jumping on his sisters (best he could jump.
) and biting them. Lot's of sqealin goin on in that basket now.

I can't wait til I have some more foster babies to take care of. (Should be happening soon.) They are so precious, and the mom is adorable. It seems there is always one little rascal in the bunch like your twizzler. Not sure where you live, but the moms I have fostered and taken back to the shelter have all been adopted without a problem. I've fallen in love with almost every one of mine, but knew I couldn't keep them. Mia is beautiful, and I can't imagine she'd have trouble finding a home if you can't keep her. Oh I want to hug a kitten right now!!!
