Here are how my two cats, that hated each other a little over a month ago, now have dinner. The little alcove is their private dining room and rather than bowls, I serve them on a banquet tray. They always eat together now just like this. OK, I will quit my bragging with this last photo. It is just that a month ago I was on this behavior forum complaining about how they hated each other and would go nowhere near each other. Now they love each other so much they spend the day cuddling when they are not playfully chasing each other and play wrestling with each other, and of course, now, dining together! The interesting thing is that I feed them freely, you can see the tray is full of dry food which they can have anytime they want and they eat here several times a day. But when one sees the other heading for the dining room, the other will follow and they always dine together. I think they must have watched that ad on TV that urges families to dine together for the sake of the family.

That's so cute!! I wish my house had a little alcove like that, it's perfect.

Aww that's so sweet. Congratulations on getting them to be best friends. It would totally stress me out to not have them get along if I were you.

Mine do that with the litter box, do you think the concept is the same? The family that pees together, stays together?
