I took my oldest, Katie, who's going on 14, to the vet for a checkup yesterday and am now waiting on the results of her senior blood panel, which should be ready by mid-afternoon. The waiting is driving me crazy!
The vet said Katie's weight is fine, teeth are good and she seems to be in excellent health for her age, but I can't help but be a worried meowmy as I wait for the results.

Do you guys mind waiting with me? Thanks!

We all know how difficult it is to wait.

So, here's a hug to make this time less stressful for you

Awww, thanks you guys.

I know I don't mention Katie very often on here and that I usually post about antics of Gracie, Pete and Claire, but honestly, I can't put into words how special my baby girl is to me. She was my first cat and has been through so much with me. She's my soulmate kitty.

Grrr. I have two articles to write and can't concentrate!

Bella
of course, and she had the Geriatric blood tests from the time she turned 9 and I would worry so much waiting for results

I understand, and I'm right here with you as well.

My Ginger kitty is that special for me - she chose me and if she were human she'd be my twin as far as personality goes.

I'll be checking back to see what her results were!

I know exactly how you feel. I've got a 13 year old that's been with me the longest out of my whole crew and she is momma's baby. Vet recommended the bloodwork for us as well but said I could wait until next year when she's due for her rabies again.
I'll be waiting here with you too!

Its always tough to wait for test results, even if they are routine.
