Here... or There... Hmmm
Well if the shock of him telling you you were pregnant didn't do you in, I think you are going to be fine with having a baby and I am glad it happened now for you in case it did get worse!! Congrats!

I think it probably just depends on each person.

My daughter never was sick, she did get feeling nasaus (sp?) at first but now she is 12 weeks and she doesn't even do that now. She says she feels just fine.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
My understanding is it's for the first 2 - 3 months - but I've never had a kid!

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm SO glad that's what the "problem" turned out to be.

Thanks all! Yes the bub will be born here in the US, so will get dual American/Australian citizenship. I also have a British passport, so hopefully the kid can get some sort of working right there as well if it wants it - they'll have the world at their feet

I'm still in shock.....
I keep saying to myself "I'm pregnant" and giggling.... Until I see an ultrasound or something like that I imagine it won't be terribly real

As for twins - that'd be AWESOME to get 2 kids out of the way at once

And my mum was planning to come over here during September, so I'll have to tell her to put it off for a month

I'll wait until I have it all confirmed with an ob/gyn when I tell her, but rather than telling her I'm just going to send her a t-shirt from Cafepress - they have ones that say "Grandma to be 2007". I'll just send her that with no note or anything

My daughter had her first sonogram at 8 weeks, she went to the doctor Wednesday and had another one done, it is unreal how much the baby has already grown.

The only time I ever got feeling sick with my kids was when I ate eggs, but I never threw up, just feeling sick.

Wahoooo! I'm soooooo excited for you! And I love the t-shirt idea!

My best friend's morning sickness was awful (nothing but popsicles and angel hair pasta stayed down) but it ended early in the 4th month. After that it didn't come back.

Once I saw Pickle I wanted to tear up. Pickle was moving its little flippers for hands...and I got a really good picture of the head and you can totally tell its a baby...a tiny baby with not many features but enough for me

Ohh this is awesome...is this baby #1?
