I just wanted to share some "happy" news. As some of you may know I have gotten into "offical" foster work via my local, no kill feline shelter and sanctuary. My sis and her husband recently were at a local park and found a cold, wet, sick kitten! They took the beautiful baby tortie shell to a vet and then home and she's doing absolutely BEAUTIFULLY. I went to visit last night and brought the new baby a few "gifts" which she loved and I'm just so happy for my sister and that kitten. My brother in law has grown quite attached the little furry, four legged creature as well! Too bad they couldn't find any others but they did look extensively, they believe it was possible there was "an attack" because coyotes/wolves do roam the area time to time (as well as feral/stray dogs).

Just thought I'd share the happiness, spread the wealth so to speak! Have a nice day folks.

You know, every time I see a new post here in the SOS forum, I think "Oh no, not again." But I still look, since there are many other important things that get posted on this forum besides the horror stories.

I'm glad I looked this time.
It's always good to hear the stories with the happy endings. Your sister and her husband are angels for taking in this kitten, and she will reward them more than they ever thought possible.

Thanks for sharing this uplifting story. P.S. We would love to see pics of the little girl, if at all possible.
But you already knew that, I'm sure.

Thank you for posting that, Elyse! Believe me, I agree with Heidi. It's such a joy to hear a happy story! I'm so glad you have a new "niece." A special little life has been saved, and as Heidi said, she will bring them so much joy. I'm thinking about her bounding around in their house, full of kitten mischief, warm and fed, instead of crying alone. It's wonderful!

I'm going to take some of my fosters over to play with "Sasha" and I'll get some pics of them and post them here, I can't wait. The rolls of film I developed didn't have any of my foster kitties yet though...
but hopefully soon I'll get them up. I'm putting together a website for it now.
