Stoppin Crime, using my car as a citizen undercover mobile, kicking booty and taken names..aww man you guys it was awesome!
Ok so heres the story.
On tuesday night Dan goes to play darts with some old friends while I am out at work. While he was in the Dart Hall his Yukon Denali was broken into. He has a two way alarm and it sounded while in his pocket. He ran out to find somone smashed the keylock in on the passenger side door. they stole nothing but we are assuming they wanted to take the truck but couldnt once they noticed no valet key and we have a after market alarm on which is harder to bypass and steal the truck. Boy was he pissed.
Still hot headed about the truck dan went out to his sisters house to fix her fernece last night. He returned the same time I did from work about 11:30pm. I pulled in right behind him and he waited for me to get out. he asked me where i came into our division from and if I noticed anyone odd. I said yeah a male wearing white sneakers creeping along side a short cabbed truck. he then tells me he say that same guy on that same block pull himself out of a busted jetts window...obviously this guy was breaking into cars and stealing. soooo
we hopped in my car and went to see if he was still in our neighborhood.
Now in the past we have seen many cars broken into in our neighrborhood and we both have new cars. dark windows and alarms (victims of many break ins in the past). We are very watchfull of our neighborhood and any rotten activity that goes on. So....
we went down that same block and saw him in the same truck..we followed him, got the liscense plate number and called it in. on our way home we saw two cops with their lights on a few blocks away pulled over. we figured maybe they got the guy we drove past to find another victim of this rotten guy talking to the police. we pulled up and told them what we saw. they sent a police car to my house and we gave them our statment. ....
later that night I got a phone call telling us they found the truck and the guys and well...he was pretty damn guilty! dans discription and my memory of the plates help put this jerk away.
It felt so good after what had happened to dans car on tuesday! no ones deseves to have that happen to them. you work hard for your things no one should take them away from you.
