For those of you who post pictures of family members.....

Do they know about it? Do you ask their or their parents' permission first? Do they love the exposure or are they shy? I'm thinking of this more for those of you who post pictures of nieces and nephews and that sort of thing. What do their parents think of the posts and compliments?

Even those who post pictures of your own children. If they are your own children (and not babies) do you ask? DixieDarlin' do your boys know and how do they feel about it? Famous?

Obviously the little ones like Danielle's Jasmine don't yet realize the extent of their celebrity

I'm just wondering because I know a few cute kids and babies, but I don't think their parents would want pictures of them on the internet, so I don't post. You'll have to take my word that they're adorable!

I have posted pics of my nephew and niece, but usually in the PL where they can't be picked up by bots and with my sisters' permission.

Besides, they are in another country so I am not really posing a risk to them as far as them being in danger 'from strangers'

I occasionally post pix of my granddaughters, usually after Christmas or birthdays. My son and DIL know that I share these and haven't said anything about it.

My neice is pregnant with her first baby, so later on i'll be posting pictures of him/her in the Premier Lounge which my neice does know is going to happen. The reason why i'm doing it there is because no lurkers on the outside can see them

Ive posted pics of my little brother and sister in the PL but I wouldnt do it in here, Id love you all to see them but anybody can hang around in here and I couldnt forgive myself if I caused something bad.

I once told my sister I posted pics of my neices here, and she was kind of upset that I didn't ask first.. Because of all the onlin pervs out there. She is a paranoid person

Anyway, it doesn't stop me, I have to share the pics, my neices are just too darn cute

my sisters don't care, they all have myspaces with their kids on them....

If my parents knew the stuff I write about them, my life would become very scary. That's why I can't use our real names, either.

I don't want my picture floating around the internet and I feel that my friends and family probably feel the same way about their pictures. So based on that I don't post mine or anyone else's picture on the internet.

Far too many creepy people around and you don't know where your picture will end up or what will be done with it. I've heard such horror stories about people using Photoshop to alter pictures in some very strange ways and then uploading them around the internet. I dont' want to see my head on the body of some nude woman or have someone Photoshop themselves into my picture etc etc etc. Like I said, some really crazy people out there.

Also, information on the internet is pretty easy to come by. A picture is the final piece of information that a stalker needs to find you and pick you out of a crowd of people.

I do not post pictures of my family or my friends. I would NOT like it if they were posting pics of me.
