Ok I know I have asked about this before but Phenom has it again. Her bottom lip is swollen like ours would if we were punched in the lip. I couldn't get a good picture of it but it just looks like her tongue is stuck out. It doesn't seem to be causing her any pain and she will let you touch it. I plan on taking her to the vet if it isn't any better by Saturday.

They do play fight. I called my cat clinic and they don't have a Dr. on today so I called my other vet and I am going to bring her on in. I will probably leave at 8:30 so I can run home and get her and come back to work when she is done.

I understand why you are concerned.

You need to get to the bottom of why Phenom's lip is swollen again.

I am back. The vet said it was an allergic reaction to something. They gave my sweetie a steriod shot to take care of it and said she will be fine. It could be from a scorpion sting or anything. Her lip should be back to normal by this evening!

She peed while I was holding her and Lee was trying to take a pic. I =might have not mentioned that. I think I just scared her though since she was squirmong and I wouldn't let her down.

Did the vet say it was a rodent ulcer? They can develop as an allergy reaction to a flea bite, so I suppose a scorpion bite would be similar. I hope the shot clears it up quickly.
