This looks like so much fun!!

Hello!! I'm new and I'm excited about this and looking forward to meeting others who share a passion for cats! I have 4 babies: Bascomb is my 12 year-old, he is a grey tabby and has been with me since he was 6 weeks old and he absolutley rules the roost, his nick-name is Rooty; Minx is my 8 year-old, he is a solid smoke grey purebred Manx and has been with me since he was 3 years old... he has diabetes but it is managed well through diet and the occasional insulin injection, he is a real trooper!; Cracker is my 7 year-old, he is solid white with blue eyes (not deaf), he has been with me since he was about 10 weeks old, he was rescued by me from the mouth of a pit-bull... another real trooper! And last but certainly not least, is my baby girl (yes finally a girl!), Peeko, she is 2 years old, is a white and black DSH and she has been with me since she was about 8 weeks old... also rescued, by the fire department from the very top of a tree.

By the way, I'm Michele and I'm a newleywed of 6 months, married to the most wonderful man in the world, Jeffrey... and in case you are wondering... he absolutely loves all of the babies, has been with me for 3 years, is a DSH brown with blue eyes!! Also, his nick-name is Guiseppe!!!

Really looking forward to meeting ALL of you and your four-legged babies!!

to TheCatSite and THANK YOU and bless you for rescuing and caring so well for your sweet cats -- all Nine of us were rescued, and are indoor-only and spayed/neutered, of course. Our meowmy has loved, lived with, advoCATed for and rescued felines all her life, and she tells us we ARE her life...she's just gotten a divorce and is looking forward to moving with us in a couple of months or so from our beautiful home and acreage in the desert back to the city...oh well! Being together is what counts.

We send our very best thoughts out to you all, especially Minx ; and we hope you'll want to share some pix of your wonderful family with us -- we love photos here!

and hello to you and your kitties who sound absolute peaches and what amazing rescue stories Its great here, theres lots of help, advise and information....oh and we have a bit of fun now and then

welcome to TCS, this is such a great place and is filled with such nice people too this site can also be very informative and fun at times too ur babies sound soooo wonderful I cant wait to see pics we photos here those babies are soo lucky or should we say ur soo lucky u found them well see u on the forums

Hello and welcome! Just a word of warning - this place is addictive and some of us spend far more time than we should on TCS. Your cats sound great and we want pictures! Go to the tech support forum and you will find instructions on how to post pix. Four of my cats were street rescues from when I lived in Bosnia, and my fifth, Biscotte, turned up in my barn here at Christmas, I think having been dumped on the road, so she is a rescue too.

Actually my avatar is Wellington in the middle, Persil to the right and on the left is Napoleon, who was Wellington's brother but who sadly died last October of poison, and is missed by all of us. Dushka ('Little female spirit' in Bosnian) is b/w and Ellie is black.

Dear Jenny and Family:

I am SO sorry to hear that. Poison??? How awful! Do you have any idea who did this? Are there good humane laws there where they could be prosecuted? In many states here it is a felony to commit such an act, punishable by jail time and/or fines. My deepest condolences to you all for your loss.

Is it possible for you to keep your furbabies indoors all the time? All Nine of mine are, and they are very happy as well as safe.
