their litter tray Vrs. an outside poop!

hi people...

my two beautiful, playfull boys oscar and tiger need to learn how to poop and pee outside... has anyone got any golden tips on weaning them off the litter tray?

i tried moving them out when they head for the tray, they just hold it in till i let them back in (or it starts raining and i open the door)... i thought i'd ask some other cat lovers for some advice.

Why do you want them to be going outside? Are you intending them to be inside or outside cats? Are they neutered?

yes they are neutered... and everything else...

in the uk, many household cats spend quite a lot of time outdoors, as long as they are away from main roads (which we are)...

My sister has a litterbox outside for her indoor/outdoor cats.
