LOL! That's me! Even when we're just driving into Houston to play Bingo for the night...I'm all teary-eyed cuz I don't want to leave them all alone!

You know you're a crazy cat lady when

You hate getting your hands dirty but you will let your cat malt and drool all over your bedding

You want to be taken seriousely by your family and friends but you can spend 8 hours baby talking to your cat even though you know he/she thinks your nuts and doesn't understand English!

You cry like a baby when you cut your finger making dinner, but when your cat climbs up your legs and chews and scratches you all over, it's just soo cute!

You spend more time preparing your cats food and forget about your own growling tummy

You freak out if you get any dirt and fluff on your black clothes, but when your kitty gives you that look you dont care if you end up being multi coloured!

...when ur body looks like a scratching post
...when u fall down the steps numerous times and get many bruises because u dont wanna trip or fall on the cat
...when u let ur cat sit on all ur school work..and delete half of it and not get that mad because she is just too cute
...when u move around the cats in bed because u dont want to disturb them
...when u go to sleep and wake up with a migrane and half of the bed and dont care because the cats were cuddling with u and each other
..when u fall behind on school work because Stormie likes to cuddle on the labtop and shes too cute to move
...when u make sure ur room is nice and warm so the kitties arent cold
...whenever ur camera holds about 200 pictures and about 190 of those are of ur kitties
..when u have to explain to your teacher that ur cat was missing and came home in bad shape and u got behind because u messed up ur sleeping schedule to take care of him and u slept when someone else was here able to take care of him....and the teacher laughs at u

- when your vet knows your voice when you call.
- when, during a kitchen remodel, you take a tape measure and measure the width of your cat to make sure the new window sills are wide enough to accomodate them (I actually did this)
- when you install permanent ceiling vents in your house to blow the litter box smell out of their potty room
- when you have more pieces of cat furniture than human furniture
- when you don't make it to bed at night because you are "trapped" on the sofa by 6 or 7 cats (happened to me last night)
- when you know which cat is talking by the sound of their meow
- that the appropriate cat responds by the sound of your meow in return
- when your king sized bed feels like a mummy sleeping bag
- when people see the stack of food bowls and ask "how many cats do you have"?
- when the clerks at either the grocery or pet store ask "how many cats do you have?", or "how long does that food last?", and their mouths drop when you tell them 1 week
- when you look at online sights featuring homes built around cats and think "I want that in my house!"
- when your cat sits on your work laptop, accidentally deleting 6 months of work that wasn't backed up and isn't recoverable, and you don't bat an eye

when you think about how to arrange the spare room to be a cat/ dog playroom

.... When you go shopping for new bed sheets and think "this won't last long"
.... When you keep yourself up late at night wondering what you would do if something happened to them. (with a tear silently running down your cheek)
.... When you have to get up 30 minutes earlier just to feed and medicate them all.
.... When you have built your cat a GIANT crate that takes up half a room because he has brittle bone disease and is not aloud to jump. Just so you know he'll be safe when your not home to supervise.
.... When you have blankets covering everything so it's easier to clean up the cat hair.
.... When you have a sign hanging in your house that says "no outfit is complete without cat hair"
.... When you move furniture beneth windows so when your kitty with CH falls OFF the window sill, there is something to catch her.
.... When you spend 30 minutes looking for one's favorite toy that she has lost under SOMETHING once again.

---When you spend so much time talking to your cat you do when he isn't even there. (I did this in the grocery store once)

---When you talk to your (human) friends the first things you say are kitty updates

---When said friends ask after kitty before they ask after you (priorities straight!)

...when you hang extra wide shelves at each window for a cat perch.
...when the first thing on every grocery list is cat food.
...when you pick out your new office chair with cat claws in mind (mine is denim)
...the screen saver on your cell phone is your kitty.
...the screen saver on the home pc is an aquarium to amuse the kitty.
...the only house plants you have are "kitty grass"

you know you're a crazy cat lady when wherever you look there is a cat and alot of the other posts have applied to me as well!

when you will no longer go on vacation out of the country cause you can't take the kitties....

when your DH no longer asks why you have 3 sausage links for breakfast & he only has 2....he knows that 1 is for LuckyGirl and it's waiting to be cut & cooled for her....

when you physically cannot walk past a pet section without "just looking".....

when you see the hoards of cat hair on you black outfit while your at work and think to yourself "awwwwww"....

when you have more pictures of your cats than you do your kid/s.....

I was going to say this one except it was "when you have more pictures of your cats than you do of your husband"

Also when the first thing you do when you get home from work is feed the cats, even though you desperately want to change out of your work clothes and go to the bathroom!

when they use your pillows as a race track and your sleeping head as a speed bump and you don't even mind, actually you think it's quite adorable....

..when you buy a foot-stool so he can jump on the bed easily

...when you dont sleep at anyones house because u dont want ur cats to be home by themselves for one night
...when u get stuck on a sofa or in ur bed because the kitties are laying on u and they are just tooo cute to move (and that really sux when u gotta pee)
...when ur cats eat more than u do
...when ur house has more cat food than food for ur self
...when u eat somethin and u just have to share it with the kitties because they are giving u that look
...when all ur friends say u are the crazy cat lady or u are going to be
..when everyone goes WOW u have ALOT of cats

When you plan your yearly vacation around your brother's college spring break so he can stay with the cats.

OMG I did that!! Darrell and I dragged a HUGE Storage shelving unit - it looks like a bookshelf on steroids - from the basement, outside and into the front door to better bring it into the spare bedroom so all the cats could sit on it in front of a window.

When you're sitting in front of the computer and your cat meows at you from the kitchen and you meow back and then he meows at you - and you could swear you know what it is you're talking about.

When you and your spouse talk about what you would do if the other dies and one spouse (me) says "I'll adopt a bunch of cats and be happy"

-when you stand in the cat food aisle at the store for 20 minutes, reading labels (way more time than you spend reading people food labels).
-when your kitty looks bored, so you flip channels on TV to find something that will entertain HIM, nevermind what YOU want to watch.

when you go down the baby food aisle to pick out gerber squash to mix into kitty's food because he doesn't like pumpkin and suddenly doesn't like his other fiber supplement.

when your pda is loaded with pictures of your cats.

when talking to yourself, you start the sentance with "kitty..." (LOL! my DH actually started that, and i picked it up)

When you make DH take his boots off at the door for the carpet's sake, but you don't bat an eye about cleaning up kitty vomit.

When you get up at 3 am to get your cat a glass of water.

When your DH asks "So, how much to you talk to the cats when I'm not here?"

When you sign your cards and letters "Love, Ellyn Sophie and Mollie:

When your cats have their very own Christmas tree decorated only with cat and bird ornaments.
When you arrange the furniture so that your cats can (more) comfortably watch the activity at the bird feeds(also placed outside the window so that cats may enjoy a better view of the birds).
When you pull out pictures of your "babies" when others are showingtheir actual 2 legged kids!
