You drink tap water and buy filtered water for your cats

They take your seat so you sit on the floor

You sleep twisted like a pretzel to not disturb the cats on your bed

They claw up your shower curtain and all you can do is smile

Hi Im Kelly, and I too am a crazy cat lady!

When there is only enough cold filtered water in the fridge for one person, & the cats get it before you do

...when you buy cat food with shrimp and crab while you eat hot dogs.

You know you're a crazy cat lady when....

...your cat has more furniture in your home than you do.

...all decisions are made after considering, "Well, what would the cat prefer?"

when the partner complains that i take more notice of the cats then i do of him.
and when i sleep on the sofa so not to move the cats aside.

I am definitely a crazy cat lady - I know this when the delicately roasted chicken breasts in gravy are for the cats, and DH and I are left with corned beef and bread and butter!!

...when you have to take a head count at dinnertime, to make sure all of your kitties are there.

...when you consider how to reduce your grocery bill, so you afford better cat food.

...when hubby says "what?", and you say, "Oh nothing, I was talking to the cat".

...when you look at new curtain rods and judge them based on whether or not they'll hold your cats' weight sufficiently.

You know, I have always thought that new curtain poles should come with some sort of cat-weight-bearing guidelines!! (ie 'Suitable for new kittens/Suitable for standard adult cat/Suitable for mildly overweight adult cat etc)

You've got 2 feral cat traps and a big sack of cat food next to your desk at work and nobody bats an eyelid.

I am loving this!

...when u go anywhere and u brag about ur cats...
....when u cant go to a store without buying something for the kitties
....when u spend all ur brithday and chrismtas money on toys for the cats and a cat tree...and u help ur mom get a new one
..when all u do is wonder if ur cats are ok when ur not home
...when ur bedroom is moved around for the cats things and has more cat things and ur constantly getting rid of things so theres more room for things for the cats

I *guess* that means I am officially a crazy cat lady!!

YAY!!

...when you greet your cats before you greet your spouse.

...when all your dark clothes are covered in light cat hairs and all your light clothes are covered in dark cat hairs.

...when you change your mind about what you'll wear today so you don't have to disturb the kitty sleeping in front of your closet door.

...when you have bruises on your shins from the stuff you ran into in an effort to NOT step on the cat.

...when you show up at work tired because your cat needed a 3 am petting.

...........your cat furniture is more plentiful and costs more than the stuff you sit on.
...........your big screen TV was purchased keeping the cats angle of viewing in mind

...........you turn up the heat during the winter to unreasonable temps, because the cats look like they might be cold.

When you look at everything that crazy cat ladies and gentlemen have already written, and thought, "But I thought that was normal?!"

---When the pet food store owner knows your car and has your order ready before you park.

---When you put off going to the bathroom so long your kidneys hurt cause you don't want to disturb the cat on your lap.

---When you tell your cats what time you'll be home at night and leave them a message on your machine when you are going to be late.

---When you are late to work because you couldn't leave your apartment, one of your cats was hiding and you had to make sure they were ok.

When you've broke the same toe 3 times because you didn't want to step on the kitty walking in front of you going down the steps.

When you put back a pair of expensive underwear so you can buy the kitties "A COOL NEW TOY!"
