We made it to Florida

My Dad and I completed the drive from CO to FL. Seamus, Gator, and Maxie are all fine and were such champs on the drive. Gator, who usually hates the car, was especially good. He only cried on the stop and go portions, once on the highway, he was fine. The cats were certainly glad to get to my Dad's house. He has a huge screened in porch, and there are lots of birds out now taking advantage of the berries. Seamus and Gator are in heaven! The four golden retrievers of Dad's don't pay any attention to the kitties, except when it's meal time and Seamus was staking out one of their food bowls. Susie was a little intimidated by my precious and wouldn't eat while he was standing near her. At any rate, they get to relax a bit before the big move to germany in April.

Long drives are always scary - I did a two day one across Europe with 5 cats last July, so I understand the worries. Glad it all went well and they are settled.
