Late to this thread, but the vibes have been on "high" all day. Thinking of you both, and praying for a good report from the MRI.

Sorry I am just now posting guys.
Well, the news is..........................

GOOD!!!! The MRI shows NOT cancer. She does have a tumor, but it is benign.I have to take her back in 3 months for another x-ray and then 6 months after that. Then 6 months after that and a year after that until she reaches 21..........or skeletal maturity.
Right now the mass is 3 milimeters and as long as it doesn't reach 5, we are safe.If it should reach 5, then is the time to REALLY worry in his words. If it gets that big, it has changed to Cancer and will HAVE to come out followed by other treatments.
As for her knees, she does have the Patellafemoral syndrom and does need Physical Therepy for atleast 6 weeks.Maybe longer.
These masses as long as they don't get bigger in size, then they are benign. If they grow, then it means it has either turned to Cancer or is getting ready to turn into it.
I can NOT thank you all for everything!! If I could hug you all through the net, I would!!!

That's really good news that its benign!!! How dare the doctor call you in so early instead of your later appointment.

Well at least you know rather than wonder. wondering is the worse part.

Tammy, that is soooooooooooooooooooooo wonderful! I am so glad that this is a manageable thing. What a relief for you all! And I'm also glad your doctor didn't make you wait for the word. It was a scary week, I know, but at least now you know what you're dealing with. It's so much easier to fight a demon, when it has a name.
Congratulations on the good news!

Tammy that is such fantastic news. The vibes have been on "high" for so long, I've been wishing for good news for your daughter. Now, I have tears in my eyes as I read your post.

I can only imagine how I would feel if it was my daughter, I think you have handled and coped with this tremendously.

Take time to celebrate and enjoy just being together. I bet your daughter gets the biggest hug tonight

That is the best news ever Tammy, I am so excited to hear that.

Now maybe you remember that chat that me and you were having, remember I told you I wasn't gonna worry about it until I had to.

See what remaining positive does for you.

I am so happy for you, and Amber and the rest of your family.
