No Longer Allergic to Cats

Yes that's right. My Ears Mouth Throat specialist tested me for dog and cat danruff for allergies. They both came back negative. I asked him if that meant I am no longer allergic to them and he said that's what it means.

Man, when I was allergic to them, my throat would swell up, my eye would itch to the point that they would go close. My nose would itch and run. I would pratically itch all over.

Now, I might sneeze a bit, but that's all. But he did find out that I am high allergic to dust and dust mites.

I just thought I would share my joy with everyone.

That is so awesome! Did you do something to become not allergic to them anymore?

The only thing I can think that I did, was after I graduate and since we were finally living in a house. I was allowed to have a cat. From 19 and to 25 I have always had a cat with me. So I guess my body got use to them. That's the only thing I can think.

I just posted earlier about how my DH just noticed his allergies aren't bothering him so much with our girls here. Maybe he'll eventually not need meds either. That would be great!

I do need meds for my other allergies. I hope your husband will one day no longer be allergic to cats.

I know I love it.

Now they only get baths when they smell, which is always an adventure. Since Stormy screams like a child saying NO!!! Cuddles can literally climb the walls. Haven't found out about Sushi, since the other cats like to clean her.
