Cordless mouse-batteries not lasting long

Is it just me??? I burn through the batteries on my cordless mouse. I even pop them out when the computer is off but a change them about every 3 weeks.
I was thinking of getting rechargeable batteries or a mouse than plugs in when I am playing games or on this site.

I had that problem and got one of these

I checked it out on Amazon.com-it looks promising!!!

I have this one, it has a dock to recharge the batteries while in the mouse and if not using the mouse for a while I just leave it in the dock.

I leave my computer on overnight once a week and give the batteries a full charge and it reminds me if I forget

I have 8 AA rechargeable batteries that i use, 4 in differnt devices , 4 being charged, or charged. know me, i would forget to put the mouse back in a charging station

Mine wont let me! A big box pops up on my screen telling me the mouse NEEDS to be charged and keeps popping up until I charge them!
