and the webpage is very interetsing and informative - any photos of donkies ? I have a major weakness for donkies too

There are several donkies at the trust. I'll try to get you a picture of Millie, who looks like this (see picture on bottom right of link page) I still think there is someone in there in fancy dress who's going to pop out any day now

That sounds a wonderful place to be involved in. The picture of poor wee Ellie was heartbreaking.
I just don't understand how there can be stray horses wandering around?

Unfortunately, some people just throw their animals out. Fortunately, there are not too many cases as bad as Ellie's.

There are also hundreds and hundreds of wild ponies roaming the Welsh countryside, along with thousands of sheep!
