Trap Day!!!!!

Hi all! Well, today was a VERY good day. Would you believe me if I told you that we trapped FIFTEEN CATS today!? FIFTEEN! I know, I can't believe it myself! They are off with two angels, to be taken to get spayed/neutered, vaccinated, deowrmed, treated for mites and fleas, ear tipped and returned to me on Monday!!!! I am beyond estatic! I can't even believe it. I am so happy for these babies. I love them so much (seven of the ones I feed were trapped, out of those, FIVE are female; ALL the females who come to my yard!) and I want them to feel better and not have to worry about mating, fighting and kittens. Not only is it a horrible life out there for kittens, but its horrible for the mommas to have to worry about the dangers of birthing and raising them outside, too. Now they will never have to worry about it again!!!! I've watched one female, who I call Mama Girl, go crazy over it. Not anymore I am so thankful. I reached out for the help these cats so much deserve, and angels have come from every angle to help! Its beautiful and amazing and the most wonderful experience of my entire life! It warms my heart and had enriched my life being part of it!

UPDATE TIME!!

Kitties are HOME!!

They just arrived at about 12:30 or so. There were TEN females in that bunch of 14 cats! (I thought it was 15, but it was 14) TEN! WOW! All those kittens that would have been born.... thousands, when you think about it.

Anyhoo, they all went running off in different directions and have not come back yet. I put out some canned food and some tuna, so hopefully they will be here to eat. I miss them, and I feel bad! I Know what they went through was tough, but they are so much better off now. Three of the girls were pregnant. The three I knew were... poor girls. I am SO thankful, tho, that now they will never have to worry about it again! Please send lots of prayers that they will be back soon for food, and that they will still trust me!

I still need to see 2 more girls, and that will be all 7 of the kitties who come here who got speutered! I feel much better knowing they're ok. They look wonderful!

Yes, it certainly is!! I saw one more of the girls this morning, Sheba. She ate like a little piggy! WHEW! All together 29 cats have had their lives changed. I am SO happy that I stood up and reached for help for these precious babies!

I will have pics soon of them with their tipped ears.
