Congratulations! I make new siggys all the time simply because my cats are changing all the time. Ann Landers kept her same photo (siggy) in the newspapers for over thirty years and never changed it, can you imagine? Guess she thought she was 29 forever. Go ahead and keep making them, you will like each one better than the last! I just made a new one today myself, only to move them over into the center better and to make the background match the default skin of TCS. I keep waiting to get them in a full embrace, a month ago I had them glaring at each other in hate. Keep up the good work. BTW, when you get to 700 posts, you can make your own custom avatar, too.

It is a little oversized, it needs to be less than 30kb (it is 33kb currently), most software has a save for web feature that you can use the decrease the file size.

I compressed it to under 30K for you in case that would help you. Note that this did not change the size or quality. (Right click on image, then click on Properties to see total size of under 28K.) JPGs can normally be compressed up to 10X or more when being saved with no noticeable difference. I compressed this one at 7.

What? I am so new at this stuff. How do you compress it? How should I compress it?

I used Paint Shop Pro XI to make this.

Go to 'save for web' (should be in the file menu) and it will allow you to choose a file size

I'm using Paint Shop Pro and there is not a "save or web" option under the file menu. Any other suggestions?

Save As > JPEG > Options > Run Optimiser

ok....how is this? How do I know if it is 30K when it says it is 29522 bytes? I don't anything about bytes and Kilobytes. Thanks for you help and patience.
