He was cheating at cards. He must have brought in four of his own, likely aces, since there are 56 bicycle brand cards scattered around the room.

Lighter than what I am made of,
More of me is hidden than is seen,
I am the bane of the mariner,
A tooth within the sea.
Speak my name.

Correct on baseball. Clever answer to bicycle riddle.

I'm going out for awhile to help friend make dinner for a crowd.

Thats ok!

There's a farmer taking his fox, his chicken, and his bag of feed across a river. His canoe will only hold himself and one other thing. If he leaves the fox and the chicken alone, the fox will eat the chicken. If he leaves the chicken and the feed alone, the chicken will eat the feed. How does he get everything safely across the river?

We are little creatures; all of us have different features. One of us in glass is set; one of us you'll find in jet. Another you may see in tin, and the fourth is boxed within . If the fifth you should pursue, it can never fly from you. What are we?

Alive as you but without breath,
As cold in my life as in my death;
Never a thirst though I always drink,
Dressed in a mail but never a clink.

I'm as small as an ant, as big as a whale. I'll approach like a breeeze, but can come like a gale. By some I get hit, but all have shown fear. I'll dance to the music, though I can't hear. Of names I have many, of names I have one. I'm as slow as a snail, but from me you can't run. What am I?
