Hello,

So about a week ago I get a coldsore in the right corner of my mouth. It's nothing big, it happens every once in a while and I have been pretty stressed recently. Luckily it wasn't very big and noticeable as they can be.

Well this afternoon I am sitting at my desk and low and behold I have another one!! The first isn't even done healing yet!

So I am guessing that this is a way my body is telling me to RELAX!

Anyone know of some good ideas on getting rid of cold sores? I really don't want to have to deal with this one for a week or two as well

Also, what do you do to relax from stress?

I can't help you with the cold sores, but I share your pain when it comes to stress!

I've started listening to some guided meditation twice a day for the last few days and it has really helped. The ones I have are from a buddhist website, but you certainly don't need to be a buddhist to follow them.

Here's the link:

The ones I'm using are the ones from Malcolm Huxter. The progressive relaxation one is great, and it's really more relaxation than meditation. I just finished listening to it. Before I did, I had a terrible headache and I was cranky and tense. Now I feel relaxed and my headache is almost gone

(results may vary)

There was a post about cold sores a few days ago.

Whenever I get a cold sore I use Abreeva, you can get it at Wal-Mart. It is kinda expensive but it is worth every penny. It takes about 2 days for the cold sore to heal.

Massages? I use to book one at least once a year. I'm in search of one now that is close so that I don't get angry on my way home!!!
