black & white kitty update

All, great news on my blk n white kitty rescue.
the local humane society/vet has taken under
their wing! Yayyy!1

They are scanning for a chip, and if they find
one will let the owners know. If no chip,
then they will put in the adoption program
at the vet!! He /she is soooo sweet,
they thought they would be able to find
a home ASAP.

cheers all round for a kitty that's getting
a second chance because someone cared
enough to try and help him (me) and
others helped me trap & figure out what
to do with him (my neighbors). And still others
took pity on him and decided to help get medical
and a home!!

This is great!!! I'm so happy for this sweet kitty - a well-deserved second chance, as you point out! How wonderful that people were willing to help every step of the way in the process ... just shows you what a little effort and a lot of compassion will accomplish!

Best of luck to this kitty in finding his/her forever home very soon. And thanks to you opilot for caring enough to help a kitty in need

Black and white kitty had a BB pellet in his neck, GRRRR

I am so so happy we took him in!! He is being shaved (lion
cut, LOL) and is getting treatment for tapeworm & fleas/ticks.

He is maybe being bathed... after shaving. Poor guy.

He is a TOTAL love. The name Cupid suits him well.
Staff at the vets LOOOVE him.

He's getting good care!! I am now working on the
little grey feral cat that went down the sewers
which I hope against hope is still coming to feed.

I have a trap I need to defrost today - and then setting it
out ... with a nice towel atop, and paper lining the
inside... with yummy food treats. Checking the trap
after 10 pm tonight. Triggering it after that to
keep out racoons and possums. LOL.

Let's hope I don't catch my neighbor's cats either!
