For the last two or three days, my cat, Choo Choo, has been hissing at us. When we pick him up he'll put his ears back, hiss, and hit us with his paws. His claws are never out when he does this so that hasn't been a problem, but he acts as if we are going to hurt him in some way. We've never done anything to make him scared of us and he just started doing it recently. He doesn't do it everytime we pick him up, but he has done it enough times to make me wonder. (I would guess about 5 - 7 times in the last two days). Does anyone know what's wrong or what I could do about it?? Thank you!

I would take your kitty to the vet. Any abnormal behavior such as you are describing *usually* means something is not right with kitty. I suspect either kitty got bit by something or has something internal going on. Please take him in to be safe.
