Tonight after i got off work, i picked up a few groceries including fresh strawberries, milk chocolate chips, and white chocolate to make some fresh chocolate covered strawberries.
I just made them a little while ago and they're in the fridge now letting the chocolate set. Who wants one!!!

I have severe GERD (to the extent that i have a hiatial hernia and tons of other GI issues). I take a dose of Zegarid twice a day and it completly controls ALL symptoms
Works wonders for me! (nothing worked before that- i tried prevacid, nexium, all of the other name brand prescriptions, prilosec, tums, mylanta- you name it- nothing worked...one dose of zegarid didn't cut it for me eithor- but with two a day- i can function
Definitely ask your GI doctor about Zegarid if you get bad symptoms- it's been a lifesaver for me
(before that i was vomiting and sick non-stop-since i've had it though i'm totally better
)

Thanks, Nikki. I'll ask him about it when I see the doc later this morning. I've been sick for a good week anyway and was all set to go back to work tonight but it didn't happen. A sinus infection, asthma, post-nasal drip and acid reflux isn't good combination to have. I actually felt good tuesday and then wednesday afternoon it all went down hill again. Now I'm achy, hope I'm not getting the flu. Sorry for the hijack.

No problem!! Zegarid has really allowed me to start functioning again- before it i was sick non-stop (i still am a lot of day with my other GI issues) But as far as GERD goes- i have almost no symptoms at all with a double dose of zegarid (i take one in the morning and one at night- you might not need that strong of a dose- for me, i do.)
Definitely ask and see if it's right for you. I really thought it was worth mentioning if it might help you
It has allowed me to be able to eat/function since i've been on it and i love it!
(i have astmah and allergies also- it doesn't aggervate my asthma or other medicines at all just to let ya know
)
